Calcium Chloride
Calcium chloride is used in wastewater treatment applications to remove unwanted impurities. Applied to oily wastewater, it can cause oil droplets to float to the surface where they can be skimmed off. It forms highly insoluble salts with fluorides, silicates, phosphates, sulphates & heavy metal contaminants in the water. These can then be flocculated & removed from the wastewater.
