Glycerine
Glycerine or glycerol, derived from soybean and rapeseed, is premium USP grade for use in the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, paints, textile, industrial and agricultural markets. It is a clear, colourless and odourless viscous fluid. Highly refined, very stable and can be easily stored under normal temperatures. It is non-irritating and has no adverse impact to the environment.
A very versatile chemical substance that is sed extensively in pharmaceutical industry as an emulsifier, emollient, demulcent, plasticiser, humectant and sweetener. In the chemical industry, it is used in the manufacture of antifreeze and sealing compounds, as a plasticiser in the manufacture of various products, including gaskets, and a major precursor of nitroglycerine in production of dynamite.
