Sodium EDTA
EDTA Disodium Salt
Ethylenediamintetraacetic acid (EDTA) is an aminopolycarboxylic acid. The Disodium salt of EDTA is the most commonly used form of this organic complexing agent, binding to iron and calcium ions. In industry, it is mainly used to sequester metal ions in aqueous solutions. It is used in formulations for membrane cleaners, detergents, fertilisers and food stabilisers.

EDTA Tetrasodium Salt
Ethylenediamintetraacetic acid (EDTA) tetrasodium is a strong complexing & chelating agent. It is very soluble in water & forms a basic solution. It reacts with many metallic ions to form soluble chelates & is widely used to dissolve scale in RO membrane cleaning processes. In other water treatments, it is used to control water hardness & prevent calcium & magnesium scale formation.
