Magnesium Hydroxide Solution
Magnesium hydroxide is a safe & cost-effective alternative to the use of caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) or sodium carbonate (soda ash) for wastewater alkalinity & pH adjustment. By replacing the sodium from caustic soda & soda ash with the magnesium ion, the treated wastewater will not contribute to environmental or farmland salinity. Magnesium is a macronutrient for plants.
Magnesium hydroxide is also a coagulant & assists with solids settling, resulting in a more compact sludge & improves secondary treatments & anaerobic digestion performance.
